Taking advantage of the demand for quality projects with both immediate worth and long-term significance in the Puget Sound region, DPI was one of the first pioneers to purchase investment land in secondary markets such as Pierce and Thurston Counties in Washington. In 1999/2000 DPI developed four buildings in Sumner and Lacey ranging from 12,500 to 100,000 square-feet.
Over the next five years, DPI added to its portfolio by acquiring investment properties in more mature primary markets. The company’s phenomenal growth resulted in DPI being recognized as one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s “100 Fastest Growing Companies” in Washington during each of those years and an inductee into their Hall of Fame.
